At Canon Peter Hall, we recognise that pupils who participate in decision-making enjoy enhanced self-esteem and motivation, gain important personal, social and organisational skills, and become familiar with group and democratic processes. Pupil involvement in decision-making leads to better relationships and better learning.
We value pupil voice through self and peer assessment, by involving children in decision making about changes that are made in school, and through our school ambassadors.
School ambassadors are selected by appointment. Children apply by letter to represent their class and then have a formal interview. Our school ambassadors meet regularly and run their own meetings. They can be recognised around school by their red jumpers.
Should you have any suggestions or ideas that you would like to share please speak to your ambassadors who will pass on your ideas at their next meeting.
