If you are a parent or carer, we hope you will find the web links below useful.
At Canon Peter Hall we are keen to integrate a wide variety of technology into the children's learning, yet we are aware there are some associated dangers. We aim to keep children safe by keeping e-safety at the forefront of everyone's minds. We teach e-safety to the children through the curriculum and assemblies, as well as keeping all staff up to date with training.
We recommend that you set http://rupertcollins.com/cph as your child's homepage at home so they can experience the safety they have at school. You can also set this on a tab in a hand held device's browser or add it to the home screen.
The worried button further reinforces our school's commitment to e-safety. If children are worried about something they can click on the worried button where they will find the following advice.
- if you are worried about something you have seen online, tell someone
- if you are being bullied or someone is horrible to you online, tell someone
- if you've seen or heard something on any device that worries you, tell someone.
They can also fill out a simple form to say what they are worried about, which is sent to the school. The school will then follow this up.
