There is an excited buzz about our classroom as both the children and I enter a new year group and embark upon a new plethora of exciting projects and learning experiences. Our upcoming unit of study will involve exploring our local area, conducting fieldwork, reading maps, mapping out routes and collecting and analysing data like real Geographers! As part of our History learning, we will delve into the origins of Immingham, finding out why and how it got its nickname “Tin Town” and discovering which monarch graced us with his presence way back in 1912.
Each half term, a newsletter and an overview of the required homework activities will be published on this page. This will outline ways in which you can support your child with their learning at home and keep you up to date on the children’s latest learning experiences and knowledge acquisition.
