This year, I am proud to be teaching your child as their learning journey at Canon Peter Hall enters its final year. It promises to be a busy but fun year. The children will be introduced to ‘The World of Work’ and develop an in depth understanding of climate change and the move towards using renewable energy sources. In History, we will investigate the impact of World War 2 and learn about the history of slavery. We hope to visit Wilberforce House in Hull, to really bring this area of learning to life.

Each week homework for English or Maths will be set on our Learning with Parents platform and this is also where children will log and share their home reading efforts. Children are expected to complete 3 home reads a week, recording this with a comment, photo or audio clip each time.
